Hey! I'm Alex, I'm 29 and I just moved to Limburg recently. I've been a bedroom musician for 7 years now. I have the itch of joining or starting my own Band. I play bass and guitar. I have my own small music studio!
I want to join a band or create one based on my main influences (read them as either/or, not one style that regroups all of that). I mostly want to create with others, I also want to meet like minded people here, since i'm quite new to Limburg!
I have two main influences:
- Prog metal (Leprous, Karnivool, Opeth, Periphery, Haken, Vola ...)
- Stoner/post metal/Atmospheric stuff (Alcest, Amenra, Cult of Luna, Elder, ...)
A little more about me:
I have worked on tracktion waveform so far when making my own stuff. I'm great at making atmospheric arrangements, finding the right instruments for the right emotions. I suck at writing lyrics, catchy chorus or complex riffs (I do get them in my head, just hard to convey it in my daw sometimes)
I have my own car, quite some flexible time. I can dedicate a lot of time to this!
I'm also super flexible on which instruments to play, slight preference for bass guitar!
Anyway I want to collaborate with people who share a similar vision! I want to convey emotions through music
My dutch is pretty average, still learning but would prefer to work in English at first!
Outside of music I have a great deal of passions, and lots to talk about to see if we can click!
