Power metal guitarist and founder of the band Spielfreude.
After a break due to the pandemic, I am now preparing to restart the band and focus on completing our album.
Many of our songs have the speed and energy associated with DragonForce, but we also aim for the catchy songwriting found in bands like Helloween, while adding retro video game music influences and other unique melodic ideas. For example, some songs also draw from Japanese melodic or scale-based elements.
I am currently looking for a guitarist who genuinely enjoys power metal and is open to influences beyond metal alone. A love for retro game music, as well as an appreciation for 90s–early 2000s culture, would be a big plus.
At this stage, I would like to base the project in Europe, and communication will be in English.
