Granola Import is currently a solo project, both live and in the studio.
I play guitar, harmonica, accordion and do the vocals.
First EP "Scratch The Surface", released April 2021 on Bandcamp and other platforms, was done with a lot of help from other musicians and the good fortune to have a producer/mixer who is also a drummer.
To take it a step further I'm looking for 2 things, mainly:
* A percussions and bass section, for live (later) but for working on recording material as well.
* Someone to "guide" me on stage and play solo's on clarinet or other melodic instrument. (for some songs I have melodies written out)
Yes, I want to make G.I. a band, where artistic suggestions are welcome, but this is more of an "audition" first.
Influences: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Beirut, The Gertrudes, Tom Waits, Wax Mannequin, Wannes Van De Velde, I could go on and on, my taste is very eclectic.
